About this tour

The Grand Tour is our signature walk — two and a half hours through everything that makes Zagreb, Zagreb. We start on Ban Jelačić Square, where the city’s trams, markets, and morning coffee rituals all collide, and work our way up through Dolac Market while the stalls are still full.

From there it’s the Kaptol quarter and the cathedral, a ride on the world’s shortest public funicular, and the quiet cobbled streets of the Upper Town: St. Mark’s tiled roof, the Stone Gate with its candle-lit shrine, and the view over the rooftops from Strossmayer promenade. Along the way you’ll hear the stories locals actually tell about this city — the legends, the scandals, and where to eat afterwards.
