About this tour
Half an hour from Zagreb, the Plešivica hills fold into a landscape of steep vineyards and family cellars that locals have kept quietly to themselves. The region’s sparkling wines have started winning the attention they deserve — and the best way to understand why is at the source, glass in hand, with the winemaker doing the pouring.
We visit two family wineries, different in style and philosophy, with a cellar tour and a proper guided tasting at each. Because the transport is ours, nobody counts their glasses. This is the least logistics you will ever experience on a wine trip.
